It would only make business sense for them to keep it "in the family". I think ultimately the decision was made by VH1 to make Tara the new wing. But this is only my opinion and a guess... You would have thought he earned it after last season. I think we could do without Tara being in every espisode, she isn't a wingman but eye candy, designed to make Mystery and Matador more attractive to other women in the bar.
